I always love to share those places with Google map which mesmerize me with its natural beauty. Because nature can bring peace to human mind and give relaxation. Today I want to write about Sundarban which is one of most attractive places of Bangladesh. It not only draws people’ attention with its beauty but also serves a lot to maintain the climate of Bangladesh.
Sundarban is the largest mangrove forest in the world located in the southwestern part of Bangladesh. It is internationally recognized for its unique eco-friendly atmosphere. The name itself of Sundarban implies the meaning of ‘beautiful forest’.
It serves as home for various birds and animals. One of well-known animal for which Sundarban is also famous is Royal Bengal Tiger. But unfortunately, Royal Bengal Tiger has almost become extinct now. Some of the notable wildlife species are deer, wild boar, lizards, monkeys, turtles, crocodiles, mangrove whistler, brown fish owl etc.
Sundarban plays an essential role in the ecology of Bangladesh also as the forest is a part of the world’s largest delta formed by three great rivers the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna. The changes of atmosphere like monsoon rains, flood etc. is greatly dependent on the Sundarbans.
I want to add Sundarban in Google map because it will make the map eco-friendly as well as people will be able to know about Sundarban. Nowadays, most of the people are leading city life for earning livelihood where there is a serious lack of greenery. People do not get the chance to mingle with nature. When people want to enjoy the nature, most of the time, they become confused where to go. If places like Sundarban are added in the map, it will be easier for people to find eco-friendly places.
