Sunbathing in a "Private" Island #monthlytopic July 2021 #ProvinceChallenge South Sulawesi,Indonesia

Beach is the best place to spend summer, don’t you agree? In northern hemisphere, we are in summer season right now. It is said that hot temperature can kill bacterias and even viruses :hushed:
That’s why, sunbathing is a good thing to do during summer while enjoying the beach view.

Let me take you to an uninhabited island that feels like a private island in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is Kodingareng Keke Island. We could reach this island by boat from Losari Beach for about an hour. The distance of this island from Losari Beach is 14 km.

Kodingareng Keke is an uninhabited island with its clean, clear, and blue water along with the soft white sand. We could do some activities that we like here, such as sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, jet-skiing (it is available for rental), picnicking, or even just chilling around the island. Gazebos are also available for visitors to take a rest. We could bring food, drink, and cooking ingredients to this island, but remember to always keeping our beach clean by throwing the garbage into the available plastic trash.

If you love and care for our ocean, I highly suggest you to read a great post from @indahnuria about For the love of the ocean .
In this post , Indah shares her amazing photographs and stories about some oceans in the world, including the tips about what we could do to save our oceans.

After enjoying the beautiful view for two hours, lunch time was coming! We moved to another island to enjoy our lunch. It is Barrang Caddi that could be reached by boat for about 15 minutes. Barrang Caddi is an inhabited island where most of the locals work as a fisherman. We enjoyed our lunch with variants of seafood dishes, such as fish, squid, and lobster.
Watch the short clip below to see the view and experience at Kodingareng Keke and Barrang Cadi Island.

it does look private, with no many people and quietness, I wish we could go and lay down there @Velvel

I laid down below the tent (not fully sunbathing  ) while enjoying the beautiful view @Sophia_Cambodia

That was a great moment indeed! We also drank a fresh and sweet drink together during the hot day.

I hope you could experience a wonderful summer this year.

I’m not dare enough to go alone, especially faraway like this uninhabited island @indahnuria

It wasn’t a fully me-time, but I really enjoyed to be there and watch the wonderful view with friends.

I really want to try jet-skiing. Hopefully someday I get the chance to do it.

Oh yeah, you have to host #WorldChallenge Lampung. Looking forward to it!

I miss the beach so much but like you, I mostly stayed under the shade. I don’t like the sun heat too much @Velvel

Yeees… come to Indonesia @HiroyukiTakisawa …once the pandemic is subsided and traveling is safe again. I have been traveling back and forth to Japan several times, but only to Tokyo and short visits each time. Stay safe, everyone…

Thanks, @Velvel @indahnuria . I know Indonesia is a very good place for producing coffee beans too. When I visit, I hope to find good lists about cafes, coffee plantations, and related facilities
