Tagore Hill is a great attraction to the tourists who come to Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. It is located at Morabadi Rd, Van Vrindavan Colony, Morabadi, Ranchi, Jharkhand 834008. The view of sunrise and sunset from the hill top is one of the most beautiful things to see.
The Morabadi hill is named as Tagore hill because Jyotirindranath Tagore, the elder brother of great Bengali Nobel laureate (1913 , in Literature) Rabindranath Tagore settled here sometimes in 1912. He stayed here upto 1925 till his last breath. The great poet mentioned about this place in his writings, though he did not visit the place.
