How can we reach this place and when is the best time to visit it? Can you share a bit more information about the place and your experience while taking these photos I think it will be interesting for the other Local Guides?

Thank you for your appreciation and interest about the place.
To visit Elephanta cave, you are to take the help of boat service from the Gate way of India. It is nearly 10km from the shore. As you know,to travel in Indian plains October to February may be right time. In this case also same may be suggested.
About taking photo of sun set you are to find an appropriate place in the boat and certainly one has to decide to go to the cave sometimes around 2pm so that one can come back within 2 to 2.5 hours to the boat.

The place and location you have chosen is amazing.
I like to see the sunset during dusk. In Tamilnadu at Kanyakumari sunrise is very beautiful to see during dawn. Have you seen it?
