The phenomena known as a Hunter’s Moon, refers to the first full moon after a Harvest Moon, which takes place in October. This particular phenomena is actually an impossibility, given that the moon is between the earth and the sun. It would reflect the light of the sun, but we would not be able to see it, because it would be reflecting off of the opposite side of the moon’ to that which we can see from earth. Not sure what these pictures are actually showing, other than someone’s Photoshop expertise.
