Hello Local Guides,

Who can’t like to sudden meet with local guides ?

Here I’ll share with you a sudden meet story-

When I sat at platform no.2 of Belgharia Railway Station then I met with WBLG member Pritish Biswas ( @PritishB ). I wondered and very happy to see him. Pritish Biswas wore WBLG face mask.

Our conversation started with eating Muri (Puffed rice) and Beguni. We talked about quality contributions. I have gathered much knowledge about the contribution both on Goggle Maps and Connect community forum.

I think, quality contribution is most important because only quality contribution can help the users. So, actually we need to focus on quality contribution not quantity.

We ordered 2 cup of special tea from a local popular shop at 4th no. platform of Belgharia station. Special tea is awesome :yum: . At that local tea shop, various type of flavour tea available and price range Rs.5 to 30 (INR).

Such meet always touch my heart. Hope we can meet again. But due to COVID-19, now the situation is not good. Hope this pandemic situation will be normal very soon.

Also, I am eagerly waiting to meet with local guide team member.

@KalyanPal Thank you for sharing the memory with all of us! I really like such moments. This Local Guide program has surely given me a global family!

It was really nice to meet you, and I was also amazed when I suddenly saw you.

The snacks with Muri-Beguni and tea added more flavor to our discussion. Recently I have made a post about beguni (click here to read).

I agree with your words about quality contribution. Only that is going to be helpful for people.

Sadly I haven’t met any of my fellow local guides directly. I’m waiting to meet them after going back to India this year.
