Hi @LucaF1997 !

You know that despite being Italian I have never heard of this monastery!
Is it open to the public and therefore open to visitors?
Do you have something more to tell about it?

Bye,

David

The monastery of San Benedetto is a very important monastery, situated 100km far from Rome. It was the place where San Benedetto began his eremitism. There is the cave and the first portrait of San Francesco d’Assisi. Near there is “Santa Scolastica” (she was the sister of San Benedetto). There are frescoes of XII and XIII century.
