Stunning Lake Eildon Victoria Australia

During my stay in Mountain Bay, I had the pleasure of enjoying the stunning scenery from a beautiful property overlooking Lake Eildon. The property extended right to the water’s edge, and in some of the photos, you can see a house that belongs to the property manager. From the main house, which was situated at a high elevation, I was able to capture some truly breathtaking photos of the surrounding landscape.

Mountain Bay is a charming rural town located approximately 121 km from Melbourne CBD, and it is home to Lake Eildon, a popular holiday spot in Victoria, Australia. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities such as swimming, canoeing, water skiing, sailing, and fishing while surrounded by the picturesque Victorian Alps. The area is also home to a variety of wildlife, including kangaroos, wombats, and a diverse range of beautiful birds.

The photos featured were taken over two days and showcase the stunning landscape of the region. From the dramatic sunsets to the moody clouds and misty mornings, the ever-changing light bathed the mountains and highlighted the natural earthy colours of the surroundings.

Shot with a Canon 7D and a 70-200ml lens. The settings ranged around 1/200 sec, f/9, and ISO125-250.

Hope you enjoy the following photos and more in the video below.

Thank you very much for tagging me in this beautiful post.

As I have mentioned in your YouTube, the shots are extremely well captured and presented… Dear LG friend @EwanArnolda !

Classic shots suitable for wall hangs.

I’m really impressed by your zeal and talent! And also by the results produced by Canon 7D… F around 9 looks perfect and of course with ISO 125 to 250 & shutter speed in the range of 160 to 200…

Thanks for sharing these EXIF details too - I love to study these with the sensor size - as a camera technologist, I love it. 7D is APS-C sensor - but, the output is wonderful!

Well, 70 - 200 lens of Nikon… right?

I’m tagging & introducing our friends, @Rohan10 , @RoshanBajpaiLG , @AjitThite @Radhikasingla1 and @Erna_LaBeau for their feedback.

Best regards to all
