When you are out and about it’s always a pleasure to contribute to Google Maps sharing your experiences with the world. I have come across various restaurant, pubs, beaches, libraries etc. during my time as a student, either on trips abroad or in my home country Finland. Local Guides has enabled me to express my opinions on various places I’ve visited and it feels good that you are helping others at the same time.
Before I started contributing I had loads of photos laying around in my gallery that no one on planet Earth was aware of except for me. I mean who doesn’t spam the camera button when visiting new places, or is it just me? No I didn’t think so, and thanks to Google it’s possible to use them in a really meaningful way!
Finland has been a great place to study in, and I have done a fair bit of exploration in the Helsinki (capital) region and the southwestern parts of the country which I’ve added photos of and rated as a Local Guide. Just a tip, if you’d like to experience beautiful untouched nature here are 7 worthy places to visit in southwestern Finland

Hi @mockata2 , that’s the view from Millennium Cross right outside Macedonia’s capital Skopje! Amazing view, it’s on top of a mountain.
