Struggles of a Travelling British Asian Muslim

Hi, my name is Reshma, and as you may have worked out, I’m a British Asian Muslim who loves to travel. From the day I was born, I’ve had to learn how to balance between society, culture and my religion, which can be quite challenging. How am I supposed to travel the world and know where the halal places are? With the help of google reviews, I can plan my trips more effectively if I know where I can find the right kind of places. I often find that certain places may not be well known for there Muslim community and it’s hard to find anything on google but when you go, there may be a few places. For example I recently went to Barbados, and was not expecting to find anything halal there. But as it happens, I did find a hotel that served halal chicken!! Of course, I had to review this place and by doing so, I hope that the places that I go to, will encourage others and make it easier for people like me to travel and venture out more. The world is an inclusive place.
