I want to use the new Street View Video mode, but my 2 current 360 cameras, the Ricoh Theta S and the LG 360 CAM, are not supported. The Ricoh Theta V is a little too expensive for my liking, the 360fly 4K is too low quality for me to want to use(based on sample videos I saw), and the Insta360 ONE seems to be for IOS only. This leaves me with the Yi Vr 360 Camera: Android support, fully spherical 4k video, and about $250 on a good deal. Has anybody used the Yi Vr 360 Camera with the new Video mode for Street View? If so, can you give me a link to the Street View?
Thank you!
P.S. Here’s a helpful link for supposedly(but never directly said) Video Mode compatible 360 cameras:
This video (by Google) shows a guy using the 360fly 4K with the Video Mode at 0:08, along with the Ricoh Theta V at 0:13/0:14, I have also heard from someone else that the Insta360 PRO works with the Video Mode, but it costs way too much. Based on that evidence I was hoping that all the cameras listed here (besides the Ricoh Theta S/SC which it specifically says is not compatible with the Video Mode) would be Video Mode compatible. For the Yi VR 360 Camera is says “Street View app integration”(whatever that means), so I’m really hoping it works, because the price is better than the Theta V.
Hi @eznoahn I’ve posted a link to this on the closed Street View forum, perhaps someone there will take the time to pop over and answer your question.
As far as I know only Ricoh Theta V is compatible with STREET VIEW VIDEO MODE.
The listed cameras are generically compatible with SV App, that means that you can control shooting from within the app; but this doesn’t mean that are Video Mode enabled.

Thank you so much for sharing your interest in using Video Mode!
Just to confirm, @LucioV 's answer is correct; the only camera officially compatible with the Video Mode in the SV App at the moment is Ricoh Theta V.
However, there are other options of 360 cameras, as you have seen in our website. Some of them will have their own software that will allow you to publish video into 360 photos on Maps. We will be updating that list as new cameras are added.
Is Google currently working on integrating more cameras into the Video Mode? Because I can clearly see the guy using the Video Mode for that 360fly…
Currently for collecting Street View images I am using the LG 360 CAM(which is less than satisfactory-- but it can take an image every 5 seconds) and doing virtual tours with the Ricoh Theta S.
