You’ve met the requirement to be trusted by Google Street View. Based on your expressed interest from the Street View app, you will be recognized in our Street View products as a trusted professional for hire — an excellent way to gain credibility and access to exclusive leads while helping others explore the world.

Along with the trusted badge, you also have the opportunity to be listed in the online trusted index where businesses seek out local photography providers. To be added to the online index, be sure to complete this form.

Also, check out guidelines and resources for sales and branding where you’ll find best practices for engaging with clients as well as helpful tools to close and commemorate new deals.

If you have questions, check out the Help Center and the Local Guidescommunity.

We look forward to the success that awaits you!

Hi @Jaffna ,

Do you have the badge in your Local Guides Connect profile? It looks like a green circle with a white shield and green checkmark. If so, that means you are now a Street View trusted photographer for hire. Check your profile page for the “Badges I’ve Earned”. The email you received should have some links to give you more resources and information.

Hope this helps!

They don’t really provide useful resources for instructions on how to get the “See Inside” option for clients. I’m trusted (still not listed on the Hire page), and have taken, published, and connected 360 photos for a client. But the client’s Google search page (the landing page when people Google a business) still only has the “See Outside” option, not the “See Inside” option. There is no support for how to accomplish the “See Inside” option, and even after emailing the SVTrusted team, they refer me back to this Local Guides forum for help. But the answer isn’t here either. Not sure what to do, from here.

I am a step behind. I have got an email which said I can become a Google Trusted Photographer if I upload 50 pictures. I have already uploaded over 150 pictures, all of them are 360 shoots, but no further communication. Do I have to upload 50 different locations?

Hi Adam,

you have to upload 50+ panos from the Street View mobile app. The images must adhere to Google’s requisites (https://www.google.com/streetview/earn/). As far as I know, the most important thing is the format of the panos. You have to submit 2:1 equirectangular images at least at 5300 x 2650 (The Ricoh Theta S is a de facto standad now)

I have submited multiple images for several locations, so that shouldn’t be an issue.

If everything goes fine, you sould get an invitation popup on the Street View mobile app. Mine appeared two days after I passed the 50 images requisite.

Yes i got the budge. Any how it is not worth without having see inside option.

Thank you NiloV. I use Samsung Gear 360 which has built in Street View option and uploaded over 150 pictures. It looks like this is a waiting game now.

It seems that many or us are in the same situation. We have been given the badge but we haven’t been granted access to the Trusted resources or assigned a coordinator.

For instance I still can’t access the trusted support form, therefore I have no way of asking for support:

Is there anything that you the Local Guides Community Moderators can do to speed up this process?

Newly trusted pros are being exclusively supported by our next-gen publishing tools, and with the Local Guides community in place of the existing Trusted forums. Our legacy tools and forum won’t be around forever — and “See Inside” is already being actively phased out, so our top priority is in making sure the SV app offers sufficient feature parity with some of the more complex features supported by the legacy Street View editor.

One example of this: the ability to manually connect large collections of 360 photos. The legacy SV editor handles bulk manual connectivity well, but the SV app is not yet supporting that use case. On the other hand, as long as you’re a trusted pro who publishes 360 photos in close proximity to one another (1-3 meters apart), our auto-connect service already offers a decent solution for larger sets of images. Plus, many of the newer trusted pros are embracing the notion of conducting more — but smaller — collects. Either is a fine approach, frankly.

Another example: the “See Inside” entry point from Maps and Search result listings. “See Inside” was historically offered as a gallery exclusive to trusted pros. But in our testing, we learned that consumers found the distinction to be confusing. Oftentimes, “See Inside” also represented outside content, while “Photos” could also offer 360 views of interiors. Instead, we’re in the midst of unifying “See Inside”, “Photos” and “Street View” entry points into a new, unified image gallery that now has a tab called “360 view”. Moving forward, we’re placing our emphasis on better ranking for the best content and content from reliable sources — so 360 photos from trusted pros will continue to have better odds of being discovered first.

Thank you very much for taking the effort of making it clear, Jackie.

You should try to make the transition a bit smoother for the new Trusted, I had been lost for a couple of days and I had no clear way of getting support.

Hi @JackieSV

I was so psyched a week ago, when I got the email stating that I was accepted as a trusted SV photographer. I have since filled out the form and turned on the “Available for Hire” slider in my SV app account. Am I being too impatient in not seeing my listing in the Hire a trusted SV photographer site ? How long does the listing normally take ? Thanks for your help - Nick
