Street View: On the Water

Hi all!

When visiting San Diego last year I noticed Google had mapped the harbour on Street View. Very cool.

It gave me an idea to do some local Street View mapping of my local area where there are lots of waterways (inc. the River Thames).

I wanted to share how I did it, and potentially inspire others to do the same. It’s a great way to capture imagery… and get fit!

Has anyone else mapped journeys on the water for SV? I’d love to get any feedback to improve my setup before this spring/summer/autumn rolls around.

I didn’t realize that you were going to write a series. So first bike-path, now waterways, I wonder what’s next?
