I have new option in street view beta camera but don’t work correctly (no recording, no time video). Why?

Hi @user_not_found I think this was discussed in another thread in Street View Trusted reserved forum.

Is this the “Dashcam (beta)” option?

This should be no longer available, as it was just an experimental test.

Hi @LucioV ,

@user_not_found is not SVTP, thus he has no access to that private board.

To the best of my knowledge, the Video Mode in the SVapp only works with ThetaV at the moment.

And Video Mode is a beta feature, available to Level 6+ LGs.

Yes, I know @YK1001 that’s why I didn’t linked that thread.

But I think he is referring to that option, that suddenly disappeared. For some reason he is able to see it now.

@LucioV Yes camera that suddenly disappeared, i have level 8.

We are awaiting the development of the situation.

Hi @user_not_found ,

After further checking, the Video Mode feature is now further restricted to LGs that is Level 6+ & SVTP.

As you are not SVTP, that is why the Video mode disappeared in your StreetView app.

@YK1001 i have level 8 now, no problem,

soon I buy ricoh camera.

You have to fulfill both conditions:

  1. Level 6+, and

  2. SVTP (StreetView Trusted Photographer)

In order to have access to the Video Mode in the StreetView app. At this moment, only ThetaV is supported.
