Hi Local Guides,
I hope all of you are doing fine and must be learning some new skill at home (those who are in lockdown). The pandemic is still active in many parts of the world and I (just like others) am wishing that it gets vanished as soon as possible.
Here in this post, I would like to share the memories I captured before the lockdown period. Recently, I started the Street Photography and clicked some black & white pictures of Connaught Place (New Delhi) on my visit there. I was not prepared enough and just used my smartphone.
Thanks to almighty that there was not much rush (which is unusual) and I enjoyed this specific type of Photography. The most lovely thing which I observed about Street Photography is that you can capture the emotions of a city & its people. It can be hustle-bustle or silence of any city, but everything comes out very nicely.
It would be great if anyone of you can give me the feedback - regarding angle, sharpness, brightness, contrast, etc.
Here are the pictures that I took …

Hello @Tushar18 ,
Thank you for sharing these amazing photos with us, what camera did you use? Personally, I am a huge fan of black and white photography, as it shows more details and gives some classy look to the pictures! Furthermore, I’ve always found that some of the greatest photos are done in crowded places, in a dynamic area with many people around, walking, running.
Did you study photography? Have you ever done a photo exhibition?
You can always have a look at Please Read: Posting on “Photography” Board article, it might be helpful for your next post.

Hi @BorrisS ,
Thank you very much for the appreciation. Here, I used the camera of my Samsung smartphone.
Yes, you are right. I also like the black & white photography, as it is more elegant and shows an out-of-the-box view. Yes, clicking pictures at crowded places captures the emotions of that particular city.
I’m very much new in the photography area. I just watch some videos or read some blogs and then go out experimenting those skills. I’ve not done any photo exhibition yet, but would like to do one in future - when my photos would come out that good.
This is the nice article that you shared. Thanks for it. I’ve noticed that Google Moderators share some very useful links in many posts. You all are doing a great job !!!

Hi @Tushar18
I am doing great and hope you are as well.
Thanks for sharing some nostalgic photos of Cannaught place in B&W, they have all come out nice and elegant.
I visited this place 17 yrs back and have great memories of walking around as it was not much crowded then.
Your photos show as if the time has traveled back to 2003 when I was there.
Once again, superb photos and keep clicking, buddy.
~Greetings from New Delhi
