Preparing your own street food from your travels can be a fun and rewarding experience! If you enjoyed kikomado chapati and beans in Uganda, you can try making it at home using a few simple ingredients.
To start, you’ll need to make the chapati, which is a type of flatbread that is popular in East Africa. You can mix flour, salt, and water to form a dough, then roll it out into thin circles and cook it on a hot griddle or pan.
Next, you’ll need to prepare the beans, which are often served with chapati in Uganda. You can use any type of beans, such as kidney beans, black beans, or lentils, and simmer them with spices and vegetables until they are tender.#eeeeeats #foodlover #foodblogger #instafood #nomnom #foodporn

Hi @Chris250 , welcome to Local Guides Connect.
The dish you shared looks so tempting and healthy. Do you eat casually, or it’s also a party dish as well?
Sometime ago, a friend of mine @Zuhralc from Kenya/Uganda shared the dish from her country namelyMukimo , it was a Vegan dish. I never tried it, but still I have plan to try it someday at my home.
