The city of Oaxaca Mexico is a beautiful and fascinating area to visit. My wife and I have taken 4 trips there from the west coast of Canada. We really enjoyed the numerous street art murals around the different neighbourhoods while walking around. Here are a few of them:

Oaxaca truly is a vibrant gem—rich in culture, history, and color. The street art there is simply mesmerizing and adds so much character to every corner. Thank you for sharing these glimpses; it brings back the essence of the city so vividly!

De verdad que es una de las ciudades coloniales de mi país con mayor oferta cultural y gastronómica y es verdaderamente hermosa. El año pasado fui de visita algunos días y eso me dió oportunidad de publicar en Connect sobre varios aspectos que me encantaron de la ciudad porque aun a nosotros, los mexicanos, nos cautiva con sus colores, tradiciones, sabores. Seguramente si lees esas publicaciones reconocerás algunos murales que debes haber visto también en sus calles, justo en Jalatlaco, como la imagen principal de esta publicación.
De hecho ya tengo vuelos a Oaxaca para el mes de julio porque planeaba vivir La Guelaguetza con mis propios ojos pues nunca he estado en esas fechas en la ciudad, pero desafortunadamente no podré volar en esas fechas y tendré que esperar un año más para disfrutar de esta celebración tan oaxaqueña.

Yes, Oaxaca is in fact an enchanted city to visit. But also, a big attraction for us was exploring the natural areas and villages in the surrounding valleys and hillsides. If folks want to go to the region, I strongly suggest getting out of town to explore these areas.
