Artist from around the world came together in one week and put beautiful works of art on some of our downtown building’s. #JacksonBrightWalls is a Arts Festival Jackson has had for the last two years… These are just a few of the new ones and that’s not counting the ones from the year before. Hopefully come September we can have the rest of our growing town painted a new color

Ahhhhh that’s where you’re wrong… The building the mural is on I add to along with the Group that puts on the festival have a location so I add them there also but not copies

Yes @WilliamCanup workarounds are always possible, but I would like to have the possibility to add them as a POI in their own right (as they can be a destination), which would also open the option to publish Maps lists featuring them.

Awesome photos! I really like the first one with the rainbow lion, I wouldn’t have thought of creating something like it but I guess everyone has it’s own way of showing the beautiful things in life. Do you know who’s the artist?
By the way, I wanted to suggest that you should upload your photos in larger size because they would fit better in the post.
In addition, make sure to search the community because you will find a lot of nice posts that show street art around the world.

Incredible shots, @WilliamCanup ! The art is vibrant and your photos represent them well! It’s so cool that they’re allowing artists to do that, and its a great trend I’ve seen from other US guides too in terms of street art.
@MoniDi I’ve noticed that uploading photos from mobile will post them in a small size, yet when the user clicks on it (lets say, for instance, on desktop), it shows the full, wonderful quality. I’ve had it happen to me as well but hopefully this is something that can be resolved : ).

I love street art and graffiti contests.
We have some in Berlin but not really continuing ones… there are many wall of fames where once in a while people come together and drop some pieces collectively.
