Winston-Salem, NC, and Greensboro, NC are hubs for the arts community. I love living here because not only are there thriving art communities around the University of North Carolina School Of The Arts but also Winston-Salem’s trade street known as the "Arts District’ but also Greensboro hosts multiple festivals like the North Carolina Folk Festival and has performing art spaces, centers, and public art installations that change with the season. I love the fact that the city allows the art freely and many art-inclined business owners are handpicking artists to design their building’s facade to make a statement.
Below you will find some of my most recent snaps of graffiti and public art around my home.
I love street art and how it livens up a city, a streetcorner, or a part of town you’ve never paid much attention too. What are the favorites you’ve seen recently? Share your favorite street art photos below!
Wow all of these are amazing! Great artwork! I love the Wonder Woman one the best. I’ve seen beautiful murals, but I don’t have any photos now to share. Which one do you like most?

I like almost anything that our local artist JEKS does. He is responsible for the Hoots Beer mural, Stan Lee, and others. He does a lot of commissions for businesses with images of celebrities and musical artists
I’m a sucker for street art and trying to snap them from the best angles, and I really love these @JordanSB ! Great photos - I love that the city is working with these artists and are embracing it. The Marvel-related ones are very cool! Here’s a photo I recently took of the Boombox, one of the most famous pieces of street art in Miami.
@JordanSB It is so eye catching while riding up in I-95! It sometimes changes, not so often, but if it does it usually does when Art Basel is in town and artists flock to South Florida during the many art events.
@JordanSB , during the summer I visited an unconventional London (UK) street party which included ‘live’ street art as a dominant feature. Here’s a flavour of my through-the-lens perspective on that day…
