What has been your favorite strange, weird and wonderful discovery on Google maps?
I have created some of my own, but I think one of my faves was one I came across whilst on holiday in Lanzarote. I stumbled upon it by browsing the map trying to find somewhere to go for a meal.
I won’t spoil the fun of viewing this new wonder of the world for the first time so will just add the link.
I think things like this are awesome as it not only brings the guide community together, but gives everyone a laugh along the way!
Mine is not so famous, I was simply adding missing road and pathways in Google Maps (the one that you will see there was added by me) when a strange name captured my attention.
Wow that’s amazing, I wonder what the story was behind it. I recall a similar bike in a tree, the story for that one was that the owner left it there and went to war - never to return. Very sad.
