The very first meet up i have attended was @PaulPavlinovich SanJose 36 photowalk. Here is the wonderful recap (SanJose PhotoWalk recap by Paul)
We were supposed to take 36 photos during this walk but Paul did relaxed this criteria. I was carrying my mobile here and all the photos i am posting are taken by mobile. I took around 17 photos as i want to be in the moment and there were so many attendees around , you just want to keep on talking to one or the other. It was a great ice breaker for people coming from around the world.
This graffiti was opposite to our gathering point and a good omen to start the walk.
This is now a feature photo on maps for the San Jose veterans memorial
It was really beautiful and serene place to be in and read the stories of valor and courage, these people have shown for their country. Passages from the letters and diaries of the soldiers were written here. Reading them makes you realized how much these hero’s put in the line of duty.
This beautiful installation was right in the middle of a junction. As you can see in the background, it was a beautiful sunny day in SanJose.
Next we head to this lush green park. The park has a life size version of monopoly. You can play if you able to pick the dice from the ground. There were installation of animals near the monopoly which are visible in the photograph here.
As soon as you enter this park you can see a picture on the wall which no one can miss. We did took lots of photographs in front of it even in the “clean the world meet up”.
After the park we moved to the other locations of SanJose where we get to see so many wall murals and graffiti. Even the streets has wonderful geometrical arts. Here are some collage to keep the post smaller.
After the walk we all head to the “original gravity pub” for some drinks and more talks. It was a great photowalk and we all manage to take some wonderful pictures.
Note: All the photos taken on OnePlus7T, its not a promotion but an information. Enjoy the pics and recap.
This walk gave us a chance to look SanJose and contribute some good quality pictures in the maps.
