Dakshinabhamukha Nandi Theertha Temple, Bangalore
(entrancr of temple)
Although the history of the temple is unclear, the temple was discovered in 1997. According to experts, the temple dates back 900 years. In 1997, the site was purchased by someone. Then the Nandi Tirtha Temple was completely covered in sludge and only the top of Nandi’s head was visible.
(Shiva linga with basava)
then the Assistant Commissioner of Police, DK Shivaram and local leader, knowing the glory of the place, told the evacuees to remove the mud. But one surprise is that after cleaning the Shivalinga, water began to flow from Nandi’s mouth.
(kalayani)
Here, devotees ate the tirtha which falls from the mouth of Nandi.
(Campus )
A beautiful ancient temple to behold. Neatly handled.
( Tortoise and fishes in kalyani )
The tortoise and the fish in the Kalyani in front of God is very special.
This is only the case in some parts of Dakshinamukhi Nandi India.
I have visited it a few times.
It is located on Temple Road,
Malleswaram, opposite the Gangamma and the wild(kadu) Malleswara Srilakshminarasimha Swamy Temple.
It is an amazing temple Visit if possible
