The area from the Las Vegas strip on the way to the High Roller is a shopper and food lover’s paradise.
This narrow alley leading to the ticket window to the Las Vegas Eye is lined with some of the most amazing shops that Sin City has to offer. I captured a few storefront photos during the brisk walk.
The foremost is a mall that unabashedly bears the name Sin City.
The storefront proudly displays a replica of the famous Fabulous Las Vegas signature.
The real one is out on Main Street called the Strip.
The glass facade shows the vibes inside and also the entrance is accessible.
They also have Buy 1 Get 1 free T-shirts on offer.
This one is interestingly named ‘Off the Strip’ since most of the hip and happening things in Las Vegas are on the Strip.
They have a little outdoor seating and also umbrellas if required on a sunny or rainy day.
Remember Las Vegas can get very warm during summers and there are virtually no trees anywhere in the main tourist areas.
So, carrying a cap, umbrella and a lot of water is a must.
Also, I saw a museum of selfies that has amazing and colorful backgrounds created for people who are obsessed about taking selfies.
Next was a Virgils Real Barbeque.
The storefront has outdoor seating along with boards displaying the menu and photos of the food they serve.
This storefront is an extension of the same one as before and it was too wide to be captured in a single frame.
This shows ample outdoor seating and nice Gaslamps.
This storefront of the Harley Davidson Moror showroom has a few benches, most likely for taking photos or simply to rest during the long walks.
The Ja Burritos is an attractive pink storefront with a bit of outdoor seating.
The bulbs hanging on the top look attractive.
They also are frank enough to mention on a board that there are no restrooms in the shop.
A restroom in the US means a washroom or simply a toilet.
For that matter public washrooms are virtually non-existent on the streets of Las Vegas.
But all the malls and casinos will have plenty of these for free.
In this photo, the business name could not be captured, unfortunately, but they provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner and have great outdoor seating.
The menu card is also neatly displayed on the outside.
The next storefront is for Jimmy Kummel’s Comedy Club.
This is most likely a place for stand-up shows and shows that they also have a bar food inside.
Besides that, there is also a ticket counter and a touch-screen kiosk.
Also, the entrance is neatly leveled with the street hence accessible.
This storefront is simply Maxie’s - probably a famous chain and needs no description.
They too have enjoyable outdoor seating, and the lighting looks very attractive.
I hope to earn enough one day to afford food and some drinks here, though for now, relishing the storefront is enjoyable enough.
Here comes the highlight of the photo walk.
This is the ticket counter for the Las Vegas Eye also called the High Roller.
They offer something for everyone - drinks, snacks, toys, souvenirs, and so on.
The entrance is accessible, and I hope the coaster entry is also accessible.
They also have touch-screen kiosks for tickets that accept credit cards.
This is the storefront of the Charter Groups and I have no idea what happens inside.
It tells that this is an entry for the VIPs, groups, and guests.
So, I guess there is another general entrance somewhere else nearby.
Finally, here is a perfect side view of the High roller that I could not resist sharing out here.
The other storefront photo is that of Casino Royal showing an accessible entrance with a glow sign screaming FREE PARKING.
Here’s a lavish entrance of Caeser’s TORUM
The board outside clearly mentions that this is exclusively for use for the differently abled. Neat.
This is a tiny storefront of William Hill Sports Book.
It looks like a beer shop with a casino inside.
It also shows some high seating inside the bar, nice carpet and gambling machines.
Finally, here is the storefront of White Castle.
They are open 24x7 like most other businesses in Las Vegas.
And they also serve ice-cold draft beer.
This is one of the very few places in Las Vegas that serve Draft Beer.
The storefront also shows a hand railing for the differently abled.
