Hi Friends,
As the hike continues we started seeing the first glimpse of the Sterkspruit waterfalls and a new strength came into being to walk faster towards the destination.
Finally, as our destination was coming closer all the tiredness and sweat began to go away but soon one of our friends started comparing the destination with someplace he has visited in Bangalore, India.
We always have this kind of mindset but for a true traveler, he doesn’t compare any location with any other and just enjoy the current journey though he can live in the nostalgic world.
It takes away your gratefulness to reach anyplace and of the whole journey if you listen to this kind of free advice and opinions. I always make it a point to check out new places by myself without any kind of opinions of anyone.
To say that I was at this place here is a picture of my family at the venue taken using Nikon D7000 camera using kit lens 18-105mm.
Do you like traveling alone or with family or with friends? What’re your insights into all these kinds of travels? Do you enjoy it alone or look for the company of someone when you travel?
It’s true that Sterkspruit Waterfalls are not big neither in terms of volume or the height of the falls but the journey to and fro to reach this place is full of mountains, clouds and the place feels like a divine abode.
Looking forward to traveling to several such destinations where I can feel the soul inside me and this place is definitely one of those. Some sights are not easy to reach and this is definitely one of those though the trek will be around 2-3 kilometers but do check out the temperature and the weather conditions of the day before traveling to Giants Castle Game Reserve in Drakensberg, South Africa. The game reserve is generally full during holidays and you need to park your car on the side of the road.
Sawubona!
