Statue of Unity - "Unity in Diversity" - Worlds Tallest Statue 182 M

This place is so amazing. It stands tall in middle of Narmada river. To enhance the experience do visit during monsoon season. The area you drive is so good. The moment you get closer and get the very first look fo that statue from your car or bike, is superb and as closer you it looks like a hidden gem surrounded by mountains. We went there on a family trip and parked our car in the parking are little far but assigned parking of statue of unity authority. From there we have to take there bus (there is now charges for the bus as we have already purchased the ticket) The bus took us to statue of unity. There are lot of govt and private buses tranporing pessengers. There are total 3 to 4 places to visit. Statue of unity, Sardal Patel dam, valley of flowers and light show. we entered in the compound of statue of unity and on the way to the statue . there are so many officers on security, information charts about the statue, waterbottle counters, food court n washrooms, photography counters etc. Most thoughtful is the running floor escalators for aged or kids. This place if so long that you actually need escalators. Then you reach the elevation point or on which statue is statnding, its a muesum also . They have video show on sardar vallabhbhai patel history, how this statue is build and who build, what were the problems, interiors and exterior of statue. There are interactive games for kids also. There are elevators/ lifts thorugh which we went inside the statue it was 15 or 16the floor, we were in chest or jacket part fo the statue which is called viewing part. Through there you can see the sardar patel dam also. You have to wait a whiel to get you chance in the lift and coming down . There are normal tickets of 350 rs and prioroty tickets of 1000 rs. You can book ticket and get more details on the below given link.
After coming down now we have to come out and go top of the mueseum where the statue is actually standing. There you feel actually feel how big and tall that statue is . After that we came out again took the bus for teh sardar patel dam. Story is if all the dams gates get opened the whole nearby are will get drown. After that we went for the valley of flowers and light show in the evening. This is a complete one day trip and try not to go in a sunny day or summer. You ll get sun burn so badly. Otherwise this place is memorable. You are watching worlds tallest Statue i.e 182 m
