Station and rail , Trying various of Train

Hello fellow local guides ,this times I wanna sharing something about my trip as local guides.yeah partner my trip for travelling mostly riding motorbike . But second option for me is train . I love train because more simple and cheap ( but riding motorbike is champion for cheap LOL) …

Actually in my Town Sukabumi we have only one train , with single rail . Honestly I should going to Jakarta as capital of Indonesia for trying other kind of train .

So here my best moment with Train .

  • Commuter Line train (KRL)

My first time I know real train in 2015 ago , I enjoyed a lot with crowded people’s near station area ,and I learn how to use card to tap gate in and out and I learn also about seat priority. My moment with KRL is part of transportation to airport, attend Connect live 2019 ago to United States ,and still happy free standing for more 3 hours before more than 15 hour sitting in an airplane

Here is link my first station

  • Regular Train

Yep my second experience with regular train from my Town Sukabumi to Bogor with total trip 2 hour ,Best moment is trip with my mother to my sister home in Tangerang and I buy the best ticket ( executive class)

my mother comment ’ I love this transportation more comfortable than regular bus ,next trip please use train " .

My mother don’t know i should paid the ticket prices 2,5 time more high than regular bus ,and let my mother never know untill now

  • MRT ( mass rapid transit ) train

For last type of train I trying it during in Jakarta few months ago .I think this train almost same with KRL but more faster because rail on a tube under the ground.

Funny story is I’m in on train arround 10 minutes only and reached my station destination , but I think too short time so i passed it until final destination station for 30 minutes , So next is is I tap for gate out in station, buy a soft drink and after 5 minutes back to tap gate in

and continue to previous station which I passed LOL

So how many type train in your country share here with a comment !

Salut@ Nyainurjana bon voyage, pour moi le train est le meilleur moyen de locomotion pour apprécier les paysages et connaître les villes et villages d’un pays.

@Nyainurjanah wkwkwk, so you didn’t pay more, right?

Normally I drive, so I rarely take a train. But I got an idea how to join this month’s #MonthlyTopic, the problem is I’m too lazy. wkwkwk

Don’t tell your mom how much you paid, keep it secret.

Hi @Nyainurjanah

There are many trains in France, I don’t know how many and I have no picture! :sob:

But my family and I really love travelling by train and even more abroad. It is always an opportunity to have fun, to meet the locals, to see beautiful landscapes and of course to relax.

Few years back, we did a train trip around Europe with the kids and we took a sleeping train. We have kept so many good souvenirs  . But to be honest, I didn’t sleep very well as it was too noisy!

As we say picture worth thousand words, here are fews pics of our trips.

Have a nice weekend and see you around

Thank you @Nyainurjanah for sharing your experience with different types of trains.

In pakistan, roads are the prime means of transportation. But, there exist passenger trains, that provides service connecting different cities. The facilities they offer differ with fare rate.

Within the city, there exist no train transportation. One of the government project in punjab is going to be completed in upcoming days that is called orange line. That will provide train service inside Lahore city.

Hai @Nyainurjanah .

I do travel.a lot with commuter line.

Tanah Abang Station is the busiest train dtation all over railway network around Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi and Cikarang.

There some advices that I want tj share with you.

  1. Minimize your trip during start and finnish office hour. Come earliear or latest.

  2. Whatch out if Jakarta have a heavy rain, the train schedule will be impacted.

  3. Always put your bags and backpack in front of you.

Enjoy to be Angker, Anak Kereta (Community Commute passengers)

Beautiful post @Nyainurjanah .

You’re doing really great on connect.

The train story is awesome. I enjoyed it. Hope next time you travel with your mom buy first class ticket for her. I am glad she enjoyed her transit.

We have train in Nigeria, but it doesn’t link to all the big capital city. If railways are improved many Will start patronizing them.

Thanks again @Nyainurjanah

The other tips that I want to share with you @Nyainurjanah . I always try to find places that I can support my back and my two hands are freely to type in my smartphone.

It is two places , the wall of near one cart to other cart and the wall beside the doors. So I can write a review or uploading my photos.
