Stars from 9000ft above..Brighter and Bigger!

I took this picture from Lachung, Sikkim, India.

it’s 9000 ft+ high from the sea level. because of low Air and Light pollution, the stars look soo brighter and bigger than as usual.

Temperature about -3°C

Camera settings-

it’s a long exposure photo, 25 seconds=1 photo. ISO 3200 and White balance Tungsten mode.

Hi @afrademon ,

You made great photos! Thanks for sharing them!

Which camera did you use to capture the photos? I like the first one because it’s very clear. You made it very nice because you were not in the city.

Can you share more such photos with us?

Hey @afrademon ,

Thank you for sharing your tips on shooting the stars at night. I will make sure to adjust my camera with the correct settings and try to capture the skyline.

I can tell you that you are an enthusiast if you climbed up 9000 feet and stayed at -3°C just to take these awesome photos. Were you alone or with some friends?

hi @PoliMC

Thanks for your comment.

I’ve used Canon 200D and Canon 800D for capturing photos. it can be also possible to take this kind of photos on mobile. Just need to go “Manual mode” take the long exposure photo at least 15-30 second=1 picture mode, try to adjust ISO 1600, then 3200 and then 6400 and see the output result ?

here is another one photo for you ?
