Hi @EmmaJankins
Please consider that what you are sharing is not really relevant to people not living near you area. If you want to warn others it would be more relevant to share your observations and opinions on Google Maps rather than here on Connect. Or in the section called Local Stories rather than In How-tos.
On Connect we discuss and share ideas related to Google Maps and Connect.
Cheers
Hi @user_not_found

I am try to worn everybody.
Hi @EmmaJankins
Your post here on Connect might reach 10 people for whom your info might be relevant. If you instead write a review on Google Maps thousands in your area will see it.
Also, be ready to prove your statements incase the business chooses to go after you with legal measures.
Good evening.
As the use of asbestos is illegal, @EmmaJankins , it will be more useful to report that to the Local Police.
Removing the business from Maps will not stop a business that is working on illegal conditions, will simply remove the POI from Maps, but you will have to submit evidences, not simply your words, if you ask for a removal, as indicated by @Deskata
And if you have evidences, it will be more effective to submit them to the police.
In Italy we have a specific office just for asbestos report, and I suppose that in GB it should be the same.
I do agree that asbestos should be removed, because it is extremely dangerous, but the actions should be addressed in the right place.
Reaching maybe 10 people from Birmingham trough your post will not sort any effective results, as already indicated by @MortenCopenhagen
I will not suggest to write a review, @MortenCopenhagen . If you can demonstrate what you say, the right place is the local police. If you cannot, you will risk a legal action from the company.
If you’re able to back up all of these claims, it would be best to contact the local authorities directly with the information. There is a Food, Health and Safety organization in the UK which you can locate into for via Google, and it would best to reach out to them directly. They would legally be able to take action and investigate the place.
