If you do not grudge the legs, then make ascension under the roof of cathedral. 354 steps on an abrupt ladder. Yes, it is difficult. Legs become stone and sweat fills in eyes and a back. But beautiful views practically of all city will be compensation for it to you!! Yes, it is necessary still descent back to the earth that too it is difficult. But you have no choice:)). Besides that on an entrance from you will take 5 euros which have to stimulate your campaign upward and down:))

Did you go on a vacation in Vienna? How long did you stay there? I used to live there and I walked by this cathedral everyday. Vienna has so many wonderful buildings and cathedrals. Did you enjoy your visit?
It would be interesting to hear more about your experience there.
Unfortunately it was not the holiday. I was on work there and in this regard there was not a lot of time for survey of the city. The city is beautiful and monumental. Yes, large number of cathedrals. Yes, Mozart’s cult. Yes, unique color of the Austria-Hungarian empire. It was pleasant to see that in the city a large number of the parks equipped for walks, but a lot of things spoil graffiti. The city is ornamented by graffiti as the cheap whore tattoos (I apologize for such comparison). But despite everything Vienna is one of the cities where I would like to live:))

Perhaps next time you will have more time to explore the city. There are a lot of places to see and I’m sure you will have a broader look. For me Vienna is a mixture of many different cultures and has a bit of everything.
I hope too that it is not the last visit to this city:))
