This is Saint John The Evangelist Church, it is beside where I work. This church was built in 1760 and its oldest gravestone there is from 1688. It is said that the church had 4 crosses and if somebody was being chased by the authorities, that if they made it to the sanctuary of the 4 crosses then under law they could not be captured, so this was a safe place to run to as the authorities were not allowed to enter. Today, only one of the crosses remain and experts say that the cross can be dated back to the 9th Century
