Nice shot, @Daniel_Pessoa . Kosice is out of the way and not on too may people’s itineraries, but I once passed through there for a couple of days on my way to Hungary and Romania. I don’t remember much (it was quite a few years ago) but I do remember the beautiful cathedral on a very sunny day and the square being full of school kids taking part in some pavement drawing activity with chalk.

Košice was the capital city of the Upper Hungarian empire in history, so there is much more to discover. Its surroundings are full of an attractions as well. For anyone who would visit Slovakia, this is one of the places where you should go.
Just a 3h journey by train from Budapest, Košice has flight conections with Vienna, Istanbul, Munich, Düsseldorf, Warsaw, London and Prague.
And in May it is going to host the Ice Hockey World Championship.
