Hey @MoniDi well i tried adding photos yet the Safari Browser seems acting weird so i added the Link at the end for you all to check the beautiful location.
as a Sri Lankan everyone should visit this famous and mysterious location.
this location believed to be favored by the “Sumana Saman” God. And when you visit this location for the first time… you need to do few compulsory activities. So you will be safe and favored by the Gods… (On Hinduism) …
i went few days back… 8 miles from the starting location Hatton… there is another pathway which is 16km road which is build now… so it is easy to hike… this longer track is much more beautiful than the 8 mile track.
when you go for the first time you need to have a bath from the “Seethaganula waterfall” afterwards you apply slightly burned lime to cleanse. Afterwards you need to tie a knot with a white small fabric with a coin, which are both washed with turmeric mixed water. And when you climb you will Find the “Sumana saman God’s Shrine” you have tight that on the a tree close by… this is the tradition… if you do it correctly your journey will be safe in many ways…
