Springfield, MO

Springfield MO is known for it’s Cashew Chicken, but if you live here, there is only so much cashew chicken you can eat. What we are missing are some good restaurants that serve something different. I like to try new things and there is little new to be found here. When I lived in Chicago, I had some wonderful Seafood Paella and lately I have had a craving for it here in Springfield, but I have been searching for days, calling various places that showed up on maps when searching the term paella, but alas, I can’t find anyone who serves any kind of paella, in fact of the restaurants I called, none even knew what paella was. Here’s my question, how far would I have to travel for a good royal seafood paella?

Pretty, pretty long I’d say. Instead of trying to find it in our around Springfield, you’re better off traveling to a major city for it if the craving’s that bad… 3-4 hrs at least I’d say(to answer your question).

Forgot to mention, if you’re into trying different kinds of food, you should try the HuHot Mongolian grill, Taj Mahal Indian restaurant, also the new Indian restaurant Zayka in downtown, Aviary French cuisine and Zio’s Italian restaurant.
