Spring is in full bloom at Filoli Gardens! 🌷🌷🌷

The very best time to visit this historical estate and gardens is in the morning! The gardens are especially popular in the Spring with all of the bulbs in bloom! In order to get the best, unobstructed photos, go when they open at 10am.

Filoli is a country house set on 16 acres (6.5 ha) of formal gardens and 654 acres of wooded estate, located in Woodside California about 25 miles south of San Francisco.

Built between 1915 and 1917 for William Bower Bourn II, owner of one of California’s richest gold mines.

Donated by it’s second owner (The Roth family) the estate and surrounding gardens are now owned by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, making Filoli is open to the Public.
