First and foremost I’d like to thank Google maps on the impact and influence they had to may people out there( including myself).
At first I was a beginner to to be part of this wonderful guide.I love photography and documentation videos.
I grew up in an Area in Zimbabwe called Mount Selinda Mission (my London lols).I love that mission station to the point of calling it home.
I began to play around with Google maps in 2013 when I just finished my O levels.I fell in love with Google Earth in 2017, that was then I realised I had the passion for being a member of Google local guide.
I started commenting on other people’s posts and later on I realised I could do the same.So that’s how I began my journey.
I started playing around with the maps and discovered Street view( my favourite part of Google local guides connect)…I love it.Even though my phone is of low quality I made my own 360degree photo on my Google guide.In less than three months I had so many people viewed my photos even more and now I am working on getting an iPhone or a drone to (my favourite camera ) take make a Google guide of 360 view of my favourite place in my country which is Mount selinda forest.
Noone so far has done so but I will go back there soon as my equipment is on the ground.I will keep on guiding others and looking forward to discover more interesting places out there.
