Spherical photos approval problem

Recently I joined the Local Guide program with the intention of becoming a certified photographer.
At present I have published 54 spherical photos with my Ricoh, but despite being in line with the required criteria, Google has approved only 27.
It’s been several days now that nothing has changed, can someone tell me why?
I need to reach 50 photos to get certified.
Thank you

Hey @sarto88 ,

Welcome to Connect.

Please be informed that it takes time for the photos be approved. Maybe @VyaraR can add a little be more about it.

In addition, since you’re new to the community, you might want to share a bit about yourself and get to know others in our monthly Introduce Yourself topic. You can also read these Tips: Using Local Guides Connect.

@VyaraR just tagging yourself on this. This is common occurrence that many published panoramas don’t turn up in the SV profile approved photos stats. Usually after we publish photos, after they appear on Maps, count of approved photos may not immediately go up. Do we wait for this, and if so, how long should we wait before reporting it here? If there is a better process to follow, it would be good to know also. Thanks.

Edited: @FelipePK posted before me . Thanks!

Hello all,

Usually it takes 2-3 days for a published photo to get Maps-approved but it may take longer in some cases. I’d advise @sarto88 to wait till next week as some of his photos were published 48 hrs ago and to check his status. If there is no update then, feel free to come back to us.

Thank you,

Vyara

Do you know why?

I’m still standing at 27 photos approved

Hi @sarto88 ,

Lets wait till Friday and check if there is an update then. If not, feel free to come back to us so that we can look further into it.

Thanks,

What can I do?

Hi @sarto88 ,

I would like to let you know that I’m removing the Italian language tag from your post, as it’s in English, but if you want to post in another language you’re welcome to add these types of tags, so that the Local Guides can easily find posts written in a specific language.
