Hola amigos / Hello friends! As a Local Guide, I’m always curious to explore the similarities in our cultures and customs. As somebody who learned Spanish in Latin America, I’m still amazed at the number of similarities between Español and our local native language in the Philippines - Tagalog. What’s even funnier is that not too many people from Spanish-speaking countries know that about at least 5,000 words in our language are based on Spanish! Can we understand each other?
