The Uttara Center Metro Station is an important elevated station on MRT Line 6 of the Dhaka Metro Rail network, located in the rapidly evolving third phase of the Uttara residential neighborhood in Dhaka, Bangladesh. There are 3 operational MRT (Metro Rail Transit) stations located directly within the Uttara area on MRT Line 6 Uttara North and Uttara South are the remaining 2 other Metro station.
This was my first time visiting a metro station. I was impressed by the station’s accessibility, cleanliness, and discipline. A service center is readily available to address any issue. Since the Uttara Center Station is close to my home, I use the metro station and the MRT-6 line for a quick commute; it is recognized as a blessing for the residents of Dhaka. p-122

- Elevated Structure: It is a 3-level elevated station featuring side platforms with two tracks running through the middle.

Ground Level (G): Entry and exit points leading out to Ahmed Sofa Sarani near Sector 15 and Sector 17.

Level 1 (L1 - Concourse): Houses the station agent booths, rent control, automatic ticket vending machines (TVMs), and pedestrian crossovers.

Level 2 (L2 - Platforms): Separate side platforms for Northbound (towards Uttara North) and Southbound (towards Motijheel/Kamalapur) trains.
Transit-Oriented Development (TOD): Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) plans to make this station the very first designated TOD Hub in the network, integrating future commercial buildings, offices, and shopping plazas directly into the station complex.
