Spacex

Well I’m so lucky to have captured this on bottom right, this is spacex taken from my garden on i think its second orbit after take off from my garden in on the wirral peninsula here in the uk.

I took it using my Olympus em 1 mark 11 with my 9-18 mm lens and have blown the image up but its not digital y enhanhaced, i took it using live composite mode with a forty second delay. The Streaks are the star capture on the process.

Hi @Hgog ,

Great shot, thanks for sharing!

Do you often take photos of stars and orbs? Is photography your hobby? Ones I tried to take a picture of the moon, but unfortunately the quality wasn’t good enough.

Could you please share some tips how to capture?

Hello @Petra_M photography is my hobby and thank you for your kind words, oooo tips are hard as it depends on where you live for example if you live in a city then you have a lot of light pollution, so best to go somewhere darker like the countryside but be safe.

i suggest you need a good disr camera with any lens to be honest but firstly set it into to P, A, S, OR M to focus on the stars then if you have a star nshooting mode switch to that then shoot, it is always better on a good tripod to keep the camera steady and if you have one a remote shutter to stop the camera shaking when you push the button.

i take pictures of the moon with my Olympus em1 mark11 the 300mm pro lens and 1.4 convertor hand held, all you need is practice and you can get some fantastic shots.

neil.
