My journey as a local guide began on a family vacation to Tobago. The resort was so fantastic that I wanted others to know and like all romances, I fell in love with reviews and being a guide. Google maps for me has always been a saving grace for when I am lost and just need to find my way home. For me, discovering this other side to Google maps was what I needed. I started calculating my trips and planning adventures and looking for ways to impact others. My journey as a local guide has done that and so much more. I have always enjoyed taking pictures and trying new things and for me, living the way I wanted was my soul food. Hiking to the top of a mountain or trekking to a waterfall, all parts of my soul searching and self discovery. For me, being a local guide has been more about finding myself and hoping to find others along the way. I get great excitement when I see a perfect sunset that I can share so someone else can try and see it as well. I love trying new cuisine and seeing new places and Google maps allows me to bring others along for the ride. It is intended to help others but my reviews have been so much about where I have been and how much I’ve grown and what it took for me to reach where I am.
