Sorry For My Before Work

Hello Moderators! @ErmesT @MortenCopenhagen

I’m sorry for what I did before (a month ago) I think you remember what I did before posting photos without the owner’s permission, adding reviews But I’ve completely changed now, I’m posting now, I think you once. Now open my profile and see if I am good at writing reviews i have changed anything or not.

Today, I put it like this in the official map, I put photos like this, it shows your location is wrong, I move it, and in the map it shows temporarily close, and here it shows open. After asking this, I saw a smile on the owner’s face, it gives me a lot of happiness, now I understand that the owner’s happiness is more important than those points. Please forgive me for what I did earlier.

And i noticed an point today, i can’t understanding who’s closing the place as “Temporarily Closed” without knowing to the owner today when I ask a owner i don’t know i can’t closed it and i have help him to make as a “Business profile”. 1 year back one fellow called me (he knows to me and i have added his tiffin centre to the maps on that tiffin centre an opposite another tiffin centre is there) the fellow thinked to close the opposite one and told to me i have closed it because I don’t know it’s still running or not, when I visited his village and i saw the opposite tiffin centre it’s still running then I understood his trying to remove it and his tiffin centre name only show in the maps he was thinking. But i have reopened it again but it’s now temporarily closed again I don’t understand who’s closed it is still running… Today i will try to talk with the owner of that tiffin centre and i will explain him about the opposite person and i will say to him can you manage it as your business if you don’t have any idea on that i will manage it like my business by owner permission. Not only this place some more places also still running but showing Temporarily Closed.

I have understood the local guides are friendly but this type of behaviour we can’t accept it for local guides all are equal.

I’m unsure why you tagged me here, but it is good to know that you are improving as a local guide.

I would not get involved with a business to claim and maintain its business listing on Google Maps. We could end up representing the business and run into conflicts of interest.

All the best

Sorry for tagging you sir @MortenCopenhagen i tagged you because I don’t know any moderators. I know only ErmesT and You sir.

@Rakshi2

The Google moderator can be found on this list and you find the volunteer Connect Moderators here.

@Rakshi2 the best course is for you to direct the person to Google My Business at https://business.google.com/ where they can set up their business entry. They can also open up their Maps entry on their phone and claim it as their own which will take them to the same place to get verified and set everything up.

You can certainly walk them through the process but I would not suggest a Local Guide should manage the business entry.

Yes sir @PaulPavlinovich You said correct i can’t have any rights to manage their business i know but some members are Trying to close the place as Temporarily Or Permanently but i visiting the places they don’t know about this who closed it. Soo i am saying some members are can’t know about managing the business i will try help him/her by explaining if they can’t i will ask the permission to manage me.

Do not attempt to manage their business as a Local Guide @Rakshi2 there is a another kind of Maps user who does that. If you do it as a Local Guide you are likely to get yourself into difficulties.
