I actually live in Malta but travel to the UK very often. This morning I asked Google maps the best way to get from Hounslow East tube station to Kings Cross St Pancras tube - the Picadilly Line goes directly there!! Google told me to use anything but The Picadilly line!! Why?

For your question, can you please be specific on what really you are talking about, I guess you are talking about route or a road Google map has suggested for you to use while you were not looking to use that road or route, can you conform if I am correct?
Hi Raphael, nice to see you are from South Africa, I visit Cape Town most years. I am a retired IT Consultant (so I should find my way around web pages) but I find this website impossibly difficult to follow.
First of all, all I wanted to do was to point out to Google maps that their idea of how to get from Hounslow East to King’s Cross is totally wrong - I used to live in London so I already knew that the easy way was to use the Picadilly Line tube train which is a direct connection. Instead Google maps told me to use two underground trains and a bus!!!
But how can one tell Google to get it right?
Very difficult, is there a simple link to somewhere where I can point out the error? No. Can I email someone?? No.
Instead I have to join the community and make a post!
Forgive me but if Google want people to ‘help’ others by pointing out errors then it has to be simple otherwise people will not bother.
If there is a place missing, a road missing or a business missing then it’s fairly easy to point this out but if you want to advise that Directions are wrong then it’s not (as I understand it).
So, forgive me once again, but I think I won’t ever bother again to try to advise Google that they have made a mistake, it really isn’t worth the effort.
