something weird about a place added by me

Hey guys I hope u r here,

Here is a problem ----

I added a place named ‘Ajay Building Material’ on 20 Aug 2020 and it is accepted added to maps but when I went to that place on maps it showed something weird.

I am telling why is this weird because When I added this place then I only added its name, address, and store front photos although I didn’t add time and mobile number of this place as you can see in the following screenshots I have taken today. and now when I am checking that place on maps, There is mobile number and timing also showing with other info. and there is also a review which was added 4 years ago. How can it happen ? :roll_eyes: :thinking: can anybody tell me ???

You can see above the place i added is accept and added on maps.

as u can see that it has some reviews and ratings too and check this review which was added 4 years ago. how can it happen ?

Please somebody clear this doubt, what the hell is this. I can’t understand this.

Hi @ANKIT_SHARMA

This is absolutely normal. Once the place is visible on Google Maps, other people may have edited the missing information, like phone number and opening hours.

And of course, someone may have added a review. This is the scope of improving information on Google Maps and to help the Businesses by writing a review

Your place addition succeeded on 20th august 20.

However, the owner already owns the place.

The reviews and photos are three years old.

Further, I find, “Ajay building material” has many outlets.

There is one more nearby “Ajay building godam” & that is also more than three years old.

Possibly, the place was there already, but got closed erroneously.

The owner might have revived that through GMB, nevertheless, you got the credit.

Dear @ErmesT Ji, Thanks for your instant feedback. yeah you’re right but i added this place on 20 aug 2020 adn now this place has a review which was added 4 years ago. that’why i had this query. after all It’s nothing to worry about. Thank you :pray:
