Supporting small businesses
“Recap : Map Editing/Photo Walk to Support Small Businesses - Mihang’o Nairobi”

In her recap, she shared how, together with her husband, who is also a Local Guide, she added and contributed to several businesses in a rural area in Nairobi, Kenya. They talked to business owners about Google My Business and the importance of accessibility, and Zuhra got to share the knowledge she gained from experienced community members on Connect. Thank you for the wonderful recap, Zuhra!
“[RECAP]Helping Small Businesses at Farmgate, Dhaka”
Some 6000 kilometers away, in Dhaka, Bangladesh, another group of dedicated Local Guides met to support small businesses in their area. @AbdullahAM hosted a Map editing walk in the Farmgate neighborhood aimed at adding missing places, updating business details, and sharing photos. They also took the time to speak to business owners and teach them about the benefits of managing their listings on Maps. Find out more about their day in Abdullah’s recap.
“RECAP: Chalai Bazaar - Local Guides Meet-up”
@Rahul001 , @syedshiyazmirza, @GeoZac, and @abrahamjoseph236 got together to map and support the shops at Chalai Bazaar in Thiruvananthapuram, India.
