While many of us can’t travel right now, you can go on a virtual vacation through Street View, or even hop on a ride at Disney World. The Disney Parks YouTube channel also features videos of the fireworks shows and parades that will allow you to experience some magic no matter where you are. There are also adult-focused adventure videos for the parents to watch after the kids fall asleep.
Playlists to watch at home
YouTube’s Watch at Home with Your Kids playlist features fun entertainment that’s appropriate for small children and parents alike. Just grab some popcorn and watch these family-friendly shows, including YouTube Originals along with classic favorites, at home with your family.
Remote field trips
Since many parents are home-schooling their children at this time, many museums, including the Museum of Natural History in New York City, are offering the opportunity to go on a virtual field trip. You can explore the exhibits, teach the children via the museum’s site for kids, and test what you’ve learned on Kahoot.
