What is the most interesting thing you have done as a Local Guide?

First of all, I would like to ask you for your LIKES

for all celiac people.
Here I’ll tell you my story.?
I started like everybody else to test how it worked for my business to be a Google Local
guide, but I really didn’t know if I was going to take advantage of it, so I realized that I
could tell the world about my problem which is celiac disease. There are only 1% who
suffer from this disease, which is not a disease at all, as soon as you start eating without
gluten you get a relief from the symptoms and you feel better. That’s why I even
decided to change my name to make it clear that the intolerant and coeliac people who
follow me are going to find a guide who tries the dishes and demands that restaurants
are gluten free.
This objective has made me get to know my city of residence, Barcelona, very well, but
also in all my trips I look for, analyse and share my experiences.
That is why I have created in my lists the restaurants that I have tried and that are gluten
free. I also have reviews of supermarkets, bakeries and all those places where you can
find gluten free dishes.

One example that I have achieved and that I am proud of is getting a chain of cafeterias
to include 10 gluten-free snacks in their menu; I will tell you what happened.
Normally, when I go out for breakfast or a snack in Barcelona I include bread in my
diet, and I have always had a hard time finding it, so I convinced 15 cafeterias of a chain
to include gluten-free bread. I also told them that every time I go to their place I always
bring people with me because I am the special one and, of course, I cannot eat
everywhere, so my friends follow me wherever I go because of my coeliac condition.
I am participating like many of you in the meeting that will be held for the Google
Local Guides.
I would really love to visit the Google premises, so I ask you to make some noise and to
give it a LIKE , because I would like Google to create this new label to make it much
easier for us to find gluten free restaurants.
I have already done my bit by creating this profile so that all coeliac people in the world
can follow me, as it is difficult for them to find gluten free places on a daily basis.
I have taken this opportunity to share with you all my lists of places I have visited and
also for you to implement it.
