Super magnifique merci beaucoup pour le partage
@so3 Thank you! Merci beaucoup!
Other than the selfie I loved your photos @Ossytony and thanks for adding captions as it adds some details to the photos and at least we know which building it is. Dubai is certainty an interesting place in terms of buildings, both old and new. Did you go up any and take any aerial views?
Hi @Ossytony ,
It’s one of the reasons why I really want to visit Dubai! Their architecture is amazing. Do you know what is the building that is making a circle around itself? It looks amazing, wow. Which one did you find most impressive? Was this your first visit to Dubai? Did you also go to Abu Dhabi?
Thanks!
Thanks @AdamGT for the comments about the photos, indeed Dubai has got great interesting structures both old and new. I didn’t take much of aerial photos, however I did a video from not much of a high level - just from 7th floor of my hotel building. Here’s the link to the video I added to Google Map.
Thanks @DanniS , surely Dubai architecture is so amazing! Yes the building that’s making a circle around itself, i guess you’re referring to the spiral building, yes the name is the Cayan Tower, I just edited my post with the name, it’s a 75-story spiral building. That is actually the structure I found most amazing! The way it spirals like its going to fold or shrink or something
Yes this was my first visit to Dubai. I couldn’t get to Ahu-Dhabi this time but I rode past the road leading to Abu-Dhabi, I hope to get there by my next visit to Dubai. Thanks again for your comments!
@Ossytony That’s amazing! It’s quite impressive for sure. I can’t wait to visit myself. Anything you want to recommend or any advice? What time of the year is good to visit? Thanks!
Lots of traffic hey @Ossytony
@DanniS yeah time of the year to visit is something really worth considering. I visited in June and it was quite hot, the temperature at 9am was over 30 degrees Celsius! For me it was somewhat tolerable because I grew up here in Nigeria which is a tropical environment. So consider visiting between October and May, July and August is the peak temperature period.
Kindly take a look at another post I made about my visit to Dubai, fellow connect members shared useful tips about traveling to Dubai, I hope you find those useful…
Oh yeah @AdamGT , that feels good u know
