One user removed the POI of International Exhibition Center of Tehran and because of this hundreds of reviews and thousands of photos removed. I added it again on the map, at the location I remember from last time I saw the main point.
Indeed I don’t have any link to find exact location but I see there are several photos in these locations:
Dear @DeniGu I really appreciate it of you can help to recover all data contains photos, videos, reviews, Q&As and crowd hours. The team can check the coordination I prepared and can recover data or can attach them to new point.
This sad situation happened a lot for important POIs and There should be a way to prevent such spam removals
yes ! that happens alot to these POIs. In Nigeria we have a UNESCO site a historical and religious site taken over by some careless lady for her business. I haven’t checked on it for a good while, I will do that right away and see if it has been rectified.
I have reported it in the past and tried to make edits on it but it was a bit difficult.
well done and thank you for all your efforts as a local guide in your area,Hopefully actions can be taken over this.
After adding new POI I found that one user also added it on the map, so I moved it to right place to merge with point that I added. Anyway these new points are not the case. The important thing is to recover main and old point.
@SamanS also found some old links (those currently refer to no location) that are good to be checked for finding the removed POI: Link1 and Link2.
It is so appreciated if you can also investigate a previous case that I described before, here; about spam removal of one World Heritage Site. Although my newly added POI now have dozens of reviews and photos but main POI (removed one) had several thousands and I described those are still there just need to connect to a POI. So it will be really good if the team can recover that point, too.
How can appreciate your kindness and help? Just wanna you to know your support and help are so valuable to us and really helps the society.
