Raja Ampat already known lately as the Last Paradise. Located in the eastern side of Indonesia, makes it a little bit safe from human exploitation and destructive activities. I really hope if you read this notes and intended to go to Raja Ampat you have a good intention to preserves the nature of Raja Ampat.
The first gate to enter Raja Ampat is Sorong, the capital city of West Papua. There are several commercials flight from Jakarta, Ujung Pandang or several other cities in Indonesia. After you landed at Domine Edward Osok (DEO) in Sorong, you can take a car for IDR 100.000 to the Ferry Terminal heading to Waisai. If you bring your backpack you can use Ojek or using MyPace Application (download from PlayStore or AppStore) for a cheaper cost.
After you arrived at the ferry terminal you can buy ticket to Waisai for IDR 100.000 (economy class) or IDR 215.000 for VIP. It took almost 2 hour to reach Waisai the capital city of Raja Ampat.
There are so many travel agent that offer you an open trip or private trip for Raja Ampat and usually they use DEO Airport as a meeting point. average cost for 1D day trip is IDR 1.750.000
