December 14, 2020 will be the turn of the Araucanía region. I love this place of Chile. Its nature is fascinating.

A solar eclipse is a very special event @Sebastian_Chile and not something you see very often. I remember seeing a partial solar eclipse in school when I was a kid. We all had to wear special glasses in order to actually see the effect.
I hope the next one in December will be one to remember.

… I remember when I was a child (1994 - maybe it was the same eclipse you mentioned 
) … I went with my family to see an amazing! solar eclipse in the Chilean altiplano (*highlands), this place is called “Putre”, a place too mystical… Very nice memories about it.

I hadn’t yet started school in 94’ @Sebastian_Chile so this was definitely not the same eclipse. I think mine must have been around 1999 or 2000.
The highland seems like the perfect place to see an event like this. Far away from all the traffic and noise of the city.
